As summer comes to an end, we give thanks to our best season of the year -- Autumn! Sept, Oct & Nov are typically the most prosperous months of the year for Coaches and Therapists! Let's be ready when the business comes our way!
I've just completed my NEW C.E. Course "Empowerment Coaching." I've called myself an Empowerment Coach for years, but realized I had never taken a deep dive into what it really means. This month's Feature Article will give you some great tips on becoming an Empowerment Coach (and empowering yourself as well!).
I've also recorded quite a few new YouTube videos this month. Yesterday, I posted one on "Should I Become a Certified Life Coach?" You can see it HERE.
If you have any questions about becoming a Certified Coach, call me for your FREE initial 20-minute phone consultation. My fee is normally $120 per half hour, so this is an $80 value -- FREE. I hope you'll take advantage of it! Email me to set up a time: growpublications@yahoo.com
Many blessings to your success,
Lyn
P.S. If you haven’t already become a Certified Coach with GROW, this year would be the time to do so! See details HERE.

We are afraid of what we don't know.
Since uncertainty is an inherent part of life, this fear never really goes away.
You have to be willing to go after what you want - despite the fear. Take that chance.
Embrace that new connection.
Sure, there is a possibility that the outcome may be different from what you imagined. But this is what life is all about.
Exploring, growing, and embracing joy despite the imperfections. Instead of chasing absolutes, create space for those imperfect yet fulfilling moments of joy, beauty, and abundance.
Your efforts are valid. Keep going, even when it’s hard.

"My decision to become a coach represents both a natural evolution of my professional path and a deeply personal calling. With a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and over a decade of clinical experience, I have spent years studying human development, resilience, and healing. However, over time, I recognized that coaching offered something different and vital: an approach that centers empowerment, creativity, agency, and forward movement. Coaching allows individuals not simply to heal from their pasts, but to boldly create their futures. It became clear to me that coaching would allow me to expand upon my existing skills in a way that felt profoundly aligned with my values and purpose.
After over ten years working within the constraints of managed healthcare, I have witnessed firsthand how difficult it can be to sustain a financially viable and deeply meaningful practice. Despite having over 50 years of personal, professional, parenting, and relational experience—and the skills and knowledge to guide people into lives of fulfillment—the constraints of insurance systems have limited my professional freedom and financial well-being. The current structure does not allow me to fully leverage my training and lived experience. Becoming a coach offers a powerful solution: it will enable me to create a financially sustainable practice while doing the work I was meant to do. It will allow me to live my best life—one that integrates meaning, abundance, and service without financial angst.
My coaching experience thus far has confirmed my belief in the power of this work. I have had the privilege of coaching women navigating major life transitions, working to reconnect with purpose, and seeking to recover from patterns of burnout and perfectionism. Through structured coaching frameworks blended with creative and embodied practices, I have helped clients make profound internal shifts and achieve tangible, meaningful goals. Coaching has allowed me to witness incredible transformations—clients rediscovering their voices, building businesses, leaving toxic environments, and reclaiming leadership over their lives.
Looking forward, I envision building a dynamic coaching practice that offers a variety of services: one-on-one coaching, group programs, retreats, workshops, and online communities. My signature program, The Wild & Wise Woman, is the beginning of this vision—a sacred container where women reconnect with their power, intuition, and leadership. I plan to continue my professional development with advanced training in somatic coaching, trauma-informed leadership, and expressive arts integration to ensure that my offerings are both deeply ethical and deeply transformative."
