I hope this letter finds you well and prospering! The Holidays are quickly approaching, but don’t let this take your focus off building your practice. As we move into the winter months, it is VITAL to your practice success that you PROMOTE NOW, to avoid the seasonal dip. This month’s feature article is specifically to help you prevent this dip -- sending holiday gifts and/or cards to your referral sources. This is one of the most cost-effective promotional strategies you could possibly use. The reason it is so powerful is because of the “Law of Reciprocity.” When you give someone something, they automatically, instinctively want to give you something in return. And what you want in return is referrals! After reading this article and implementing the strategies, if you have any questions or would like my assistance, please feel free to contact me. I’m here to help you build your practice!
Dear Colleagues,
Let me help you make 2026 your SIX-FIGURE INCOME YEAR!!! I am available to you for telephone and e-mail consultation on any area of practice building. You own a BUSINESS. If you want to be successful, you have to do what other successful people do. They KNOW "it takes money to make money."
Become a member of GPCCA (GROW Professional Coach & Counselor Association.) I'm certain I will save you MUCH MORE than the membership fee by helping you NOT DO what I know DOESN'T work, and DO what I know DOES WORK! Contact me at growpublications@yahoo.com
Thanks!

Hold on to the part of you that believes things are still working in your favor.
During the fiercest storms, when things are breaking down, plans aren’t working out, and everything feels so impossible that you can barely breathe, that’s when you need to hold on to that belief even more tightly.
The belief may seem illogical at times, but the truth remains that your story hasn’t finished unfolding yet.
Things can still fall into place in ways you never thought were possible.
Through it all, your only job is not to let yourself become consumed by fearful thoughts.
Holding on to this truth can give you the strength to stay afloat.
You have to remain open to possibilities that you cannot see yet.

Essay:
"I went to college at sixteen years old. For most people, that’s a dream. For me, it was a testimony of my desire to avoid conflict, receive an education, and pick up pieces of my shattered life. Initially, I thought I knew what I wanted to do. I probably was right. The problem is, I never knew exactly how I wanted to do it, or what to call “it”. I struggled for years figuring that out. After ten years of attempting programs and pathways, failing, starting over, and forgiving myself, I graduated Mohawk Valley Community College with two associate degrees. I knew my education journey couldn’t end there because my degrees wouldn’t land me a salary of much more than minimum wage in the workplace.
I decided to go to Bellevue University as a transfer student after meeting advisor Kim Snow. She encouraged me to pursue my bachelor’s and master’s degrees and helped me determine which degrees best suited my personality. Based on the results of an interest profiler exam, coaching and mentoring were high scoring fields of interest for me. Even more importantly, I ranked highly for being passionate about these fields of work. That means I already had the personality and tools to become a coach. I simply needed skill development and training to become good at it.
I decided to pursue my master’s degree in business and professional communication with a graduate concentration in Executive Coaching. This is one of the requirements needed to sit for my board certification exam (BCC).
While in graduate school, I did HR work for 7 bases and departments of a large transportation company. That started my coaching journey. Then, in the last several years, I have provided coaching and contracting work for multiple local organizations. I have helped business owners determine that are interested in certifications such as Minority and Women Business owner credentialing or individuals interested in personal development and employment barrier removal services. I have also helped business owners determine pathways to use grant money and develop programming and complete reporting and provided capacity building mentorship.
I decided to become a Certified Coach because I have always enjoyed helping people become the best versions of themselves, accept the mistakes they’ve made, and learn from the consequences and trauma they have experienced and overcome. I help people transform their lives, therefore transforming communities. Thank you!"
