We often spend our days rushing from one task to the next, trying to keep up with everything that needs to be done.
In the midst of life’s chaos, it’s easy to become so preoccupied with responsibilities that we begin to take our own gifts for granted.
Slowing down is the key to letting a sense of gratitude really sink into your heart.
There are countless reminders in your life that prove your efforts and persistence can lead to something beautiful.
The ordinary moments you live today were once part of your unfulfilled desires.
Now, they are part of your everyday reality.
Appreciating all the good around you makes your life feel richer, even amidst the chaos.

Student Mindset Coaching
College is a powerful time to create the habits that shape the rest of your life — and the right support makes all the difference.
As a confidence coach for college students, I use proactive, results-driven strategies that help students develop positive mindsets, emotional resilience and strong discipline for follow-through.
I can help you build the foundation for your future through college and beyond. Let's explore this together with a free intro call. For over 30 years, I’ve helped young men build focus, confidence, and direction by overcoming distraction and self-doubt through brain-based coaching methods, including Brainspotting.
I have been involved in men’s work, personal development, and performance training for four decades. I've facilitated individual and group programs, and led men’s teams focused on accountability, leadership, and integrity.
My coaching blends:
I’ve also practiced martial arts for many years and hold a third-degree black belt in Aikido — “The Way of Peace” — which strongly influences my coaching philosophy: strength with balance, discipline with compassion.
Beyond coaching, I work with race car drivers to improve performance using Brainspotting. I stay active through trail running, ultimate frisbee, and spending time outdoors with my dogs and my amazing wife, Lorraine!

Specialties: Coaching for Nurses and Healthcare Professionals who are overwhelmed, exhausted and burned out.
Mission Statement: "I help nurses who are experiencing burnot symptoms to empower and take care of themselves."
"My first experience coaching a professional nurse happened early in my training, and it taught me more about the work than any e-books ever could. I remember trying to relax before the session, feeling nervous even though I had studied the core coaching skills over and over. I had reviewed ethics, informed consent, and the importance of staying within the boundaries of coaching instead of drifting into therapy or giving advice. Even though coaching is not regulated by law, the standards I learned mean a lot to me. I wanted to show responsibly and with a clear coaching mindset.
When the nurse arrived for her session, I could hear the exhaustion in her voice. It was not the type of tired that comes after a long shift, but the deeper kind that comes from juggling responsibility, caring for others, and having little time left for herself. She told me she still cared about her work but felt overwhelmed and unsure of her next steps. She was not looking to be analyzed. She simply wanted clarity and someone to talk to who would not judge her or tell her what she was doing wrong.
I began with a question that felt simple but turned out to be powerful. I asked her what she wanted to walk away with by the end of our conversation. She paused for a moment and then said she wanted to feel like she has choices again. That statement stuck with me because it showed exactly how much pressure she had been carrying. During the session I focused on listening closely. Nurses often have to be strong for everyone else, so giving her space to express herself without interruption made a difference. My training reminded me to stay curious, keep the attention on her goals, and trust that she already had the ability to find her own answers.
Slowly the tension in her voice softened. She began to see that she was not trapped but overwhelmed by too many competing demands. By the time we finished, she had identified one small but meaningful step she could take that week to create more room in her life. It was nothing dramatic, just a realistic personal commitment that she felt ready to follow through on. Before we ended the call, she said something that has stayed with me. She told me the session felt different from therapy because she did not feel like she was being examined. Instead she felt like she was actually moving forward.
After the session ended, I sat quietly and let the experience sink in. As a nurse myself, coaching another nurse, someone who spends their life supporting others, helped me understand the value of this work in a deeper way. It showed me why solid training and ethical standards matter and why coaching has become such an important option for professionals who want guidance without stigma or judgment. That first session gave me confidence, but more importantly, it reminded me that coaching is not about being an expert. It is about creating a safe space where people can reconnect with their own strengths and find direction again. It was the moment I truly felt like a coach."
